Tekila Cocina Mexicana - Bonsall

Does anyone know what happened to Manny? He was the heart and soul of this restaurant, and his cooking was incredible. Ever since he left, things just haven't been the same. If you have any information about Manny, please let me know.

Tekila is currently closed and will soon reopen as a new Mexican restaurant run by Z Café. The space is being remodeled and the signage is being updated. We have enjoyed dining here over the years, although the food has been inconsistent at times. We are excited about the upcoming changes and look forward to the new restaurant.

The food was a bit overpriced for the quality. While it was tasty, I don't think it justified the cost of the burrito. You might want to consider choosing a different dish.

Please tell me Tekila is not closing. There is not a Mexican restaurant in San Diego as good or even nearly as good as Tekila. It's a one hour drive to Fallbrook worth every bit of the time to get there. Does anyone know how to make the flour tortilla chips? Help, please. I never ate tortilla chips until I tried those. LHM. How can I get some? Does anyone have a recipe. PS El Agave in Old Town is a wonderful upscale (aka expensive) restaurant. Not the same as Tekila.

We've been coming here for a couple of years and have always enjoyed their food and service but it looks like no more. Stopped by yesterday to discover the place empty and a sign saying Z South Mexican Cucina and and Cantina coming soon. Tekila is gone.
