There’s also a vending machine in the back for drinks ($3 each). Please note that this restaurant only accepts cash. It appeared to be a favorite destination for both locals and visitors! Best fish and fries in the state of Maine! The fish is lightly fried, which I really appreciate, and the flavor is fantastic. The fries are perfectly crispy as well. They offer two excellent sauces for the fish: dill and tartar sauce. While both are delicious, the dill sauce is my personal favorite. It’s great to see the owner working alongside her daughter to run the business, and her sibling catches the fish fresh every morning, ensuring it’s fried that very day. If you’re in Boothbay, you absolutely must stop by. I promise it will be an unforgettable experience. Just be mindful of their hours—the restaurant is open for lunch only from 11 AM to 2 PM and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Due to its popularity, they often sell out of fish before 2 PM, so plan accordingly. Overall, it’s an excellent place, and I will definitely be returning!

The lunch experience was outstanding! Every aspect, from the food to the service and atmosphere, received a perfect score. The Fried Haddock Sandwich was exceptionally delicious, and the Hand Cut French Fries were the perfect complement. Highly recommend this spot for a satisfying meal!
