Equipment and food at the top. Very good place to drink also
Quite small, but nice and cozy. we had the menu jour and eating was pretty good. excellent apple cake! friendly and fast service, decent size shares.
I did not evaluate the service at this location, as the waiter was a little arrogant when we asked if they had an English menu. we still sat down and eat here. my friend ordered the bazaar burger and I got the familiar. to our surprise, eating was really delicious. the pattie was juicy, cooked on medium-sized rareness and the confit dee fell from the bone. a tade on the salty side, but the red wine supplemented the duck well, so I didn't mind. as both net parts were pretty good, we decided to order dessert and the cream brulee. it was one of the best cream brim we both ate so that we can get to the boil.
We arrived at 11:30. most of the tables were set to midday, paper placemats and knives and forks. a man drank coffee on a table. there were two other tables that were not put to lunch, but they were in what seemed to be zigarette ash and wore dirty coffee sauces. I'm especially about cleanliness, so we sat next table for lunch. we know that tables are for lunch for diners, but we were hot and tired and thirsty and expected to be gone in ten minutes after the coffee. the waitress came out after a few seconds, and in a not unfriendly style said that the table was reserved. She has rejected us on the way, on the dirty tables and went back in. not only did she care to put the table back to lunch. she didn't ask what we wanted to drink. they had not already, and not then, clean the tables. I could have approached these tables with gum gloves and a bucket. we left. I was quite upset by this experience, I thought it showed us contempt as customers of caffe and as guests in bordeaux.
