In the ground floor is a very tasty selection of the freshest baked and wine cellar, with good coffee and a lot of seating, inside and outside. but they go up where there is even more space, including a small mid-floor balcony on a huge window. here they serve breakfasts and unstandard brunches. the staff was sweet and helpful and well finished with our underpowered french. I am am amazed to read an evaluation that they were aggressive: could not have been charming to us anymore. turn the rue de la porte dijeaux directly opposite the lacoste shop and the opera is opposite them.
Four adult and a child needed a delicious, substantial lunch to fill our day, whistlestoptour around bordeaux. we ordered 2 salads of 5th Thai style with garnel for me, delicious, but could have done with more dressing. chicken salad, baked style. and a wrap and chicken sandwich also. after 4 sublime dessert paper we were refueled. excellent choice for lunch, wonderful baked even if the tarte au citron had meringue (too much for me,) the chocolate eclair was full of crème; the appleter was tasty and chocolatedelice was a place to see. good service, nice boxing stop when busy shopping and accelerating the city. good coffee too. thank you for coming back!
Beautiful shop but thats the only positive. Staff is very unfriendly to the point of rudeness. Went in to buy a gift, my daughters scarf accidentally knocked over a small chocolate and it broke. The girl at the register made some horrible remark. Went I...went to pay for my items she said to me What am I going to do with the broken one? I cant sell it, its a complete loss, your lucky I dont charge you for it I would have been more than happy to pay for it but with that attitude and disrespect I didnt. There are so many pastry shops, when will employers learn that a smile goes such a long way. I will never go back to this pastry shop and I tell all my friends not to go there either until they learn kindness is the key to success they lost my business.
) nul archi nul!
