Prezzo - Boston

The restaurant has a nice facade and a premium feel. However, once inside, there were noticeable flaws. The booth seating was comfortable, but the leather was cracked and the table was sticky. The staff were professional but not very engaging. The menu options were limited to pizza and pasta. The meal was decent, but there were small issues that detracted from the overall experience. The staff seemed disinterested, the cleanliness was lacking, and there were no straws available. The service was slow, and overall it was below average for the price. I have had better experiences at Pizza Express.

I recently went back to Prezzo, a lively restaurant in Boston, for my first indoor meal since lockdown. The service and hospitality were top-notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious penne and mini pizza, accompanied by a fresh green salad. Thank you very much for a wonderful dining experience!

We were fortunate to secure a table at Prezzo on our first evening in Boston, as the Covid restrictions limited the available seating. Despite this, we were promptly seated and served our food in a timely manner. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive.

My partner and I were given a Red letter day voucher by my sister for Christmas. My partner booked us in at 5.30 pm as she had also arranged something else. The welcome was very nice and appeared quite sincere. We explained we had this voucher. We were shown to our table and given a menu. When I'd read the menu, I said jokingly that we had been given the cheapo menu. The selection was minimal. We then asked if we could order from the standard menu, initially this was a problem. After talking to the manageress it was sorted. Starter for me off the big menu, meatballs, very nice. Two meatballs for £8 . My partner had chilli prawns, also 8.00 Our main ,we had a spicy pizza each. It was off the original menu, and explained no difference between the two, it was a massive pizza. But exceptionally bland. The waitress was very generous with the chilli oil and Parmesan cheese though. My sweet was tiramisu, it was ok, but my partners cheesecake was not very nice. But credit to them, they did take it off the bill. So in fairness the food was not up to that of Whetherspoons, we felt awkward with the voucher,when it should have been a nice experience. The surrounding area was nice. So, at best it was average. Would I go again? No!
