When we got there it was a little busy but open seating. Unknown if they have a host when it gets busy. Good selection of beers. Everything from light to dark. From sweet to hoppy. I had the Red Rye IPA. It was very good. Good Rye and hoppy flavor. It was a small menu but everything looked great. We ordered the Bru Pizza. It had sausage, onions and aged cheddar. It was so good! Cooked in a wood fire oven. Our server was Jaime. Very friendly and attentive. Will def be back for the beer and food. Cheers!
Hit this spot for a quick lunch on my way out of Boulder. Arrived to find out they have all day happy hour on Tuesday, which is always nice. The beer sampler was ok. Nothing was bad, but only one really jumped out as above average. It was a hoppy ale. I had a small one of that beer again. The food is the star here. I had an order of the charred cauliflower with curry sauce and the Brussels sprouts. Both were amazing. Also pay the $1 to get the house made sourdough bread. It was spectacular. The vibe of the place is laid back. It is a little weird that a guy was playing video games on the TV at the end of the bar, but whatever. The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back for more of the food items if I'm back in Boulder, but I'll be fine if I never try the beer again.
I loved it here! I went pre-covid and they have been closed since (some curbside pick-up with growlers and cocktail kits). I highly recommend checking this place out when things clear up. There pizza was superb! It was stone-fire roasted with fresh ingredients. The portions are smaller- splitting a large pizza was enough for 2, but we could've had a few more slices each. Service was great, food was excellent and beer was cold and refreshing- what more do you need?!
This is a great place to go for a culinary adventure. They have some awesome seafood dishes like the mussels and Mojo Shrimp. Add to that the kimchi and bacon (yes bacon) fried rice and your mouth should be watering! They also serve great beers. The staff is friendly and the absence of a tv creates a great community feel. Check out Bru!
A nice hidden gem on Arapahoe in Boulder. Nice selection of their own craft beers and great food. If you like craft beer- this is a must try. Everything is made in their wood fired pizza oven on the premises. We had pizza and the pork with kimchi fried rice- delicious! The service is attentive but be patient as everything is cooked in the same oven and can back up a bit during the busy times. But, you will be glad you waited. For dessert, the smores pizza made with nutella is a treat. Th salads are also nicely done. Enjoy!
