The Flagstaff House is a top level experience, both from the food and preparation perspective but also the service. The food is prepared with the finest ingredients, and presented very creatively, appealing and sumptuous to the palate. Clearly the chef has credentials from the finest in culinary schools to present such a wide variety of dishes beautifully. We would place this restaurant along with the finest in the state of Colorado and perhaps in the US. In addition to the creative and inviting menu, the staff was extremely attentive, with outstanding service. The restaurant is located about 1,000 feet up the mountain from the city of Boulder, Colorado with extraordinary views of the city and city lights. The menu price is on the high side, but the overall experience and food may well be worth it. This is clearly a top level restaurant for the most discriminating of customers. We had a most enjoyable evening celebrating our anniversary. Looking to return.

Flagstaff wait people are very attentive. The food is consistently terrific!

When spending over $600 for a dinner for 2 you expect a certain level of food, service, pretty much everything. The view was superb and the filet was some of the best. But the rest was a little underwhelming. The beef carpaccio was stringy and tough. The first glass of wine for the pairings came when the course was almost eaten. And desert was just ok. But the views and ambiance were wonderful. Just think it all should be perfect for that much spent.
