Alcatraz Caffe Bournemouth

I really enjoyed my trip to Alcatraz. Good food and good service.

A good honest Italian cuisine eating house, good fast service, well appointed. Only negative is paper napkins should be cloth

Prawn starter was terrific steak main was cooked perfectly with a great sauce. Wine was good atmosphere good service friendly and efficient. A nice restaurant with good food and friendly staff

The food was exceptional, if you like mushrooms, ask them to make you the wild mushroom risotto. There is nothing like it in the world. The ambiance is great, really relaxed and the servers can't do enough to make your evening as great as possible. Thoroughly recommend Alcatraz for any occasion.

Visiting Bournemouth for the first time on Bank Holiday weekend to meet up with friends and booked this restaurant on-line a few days before so was completely unknown. It was a good choice with a varied menu for dinner at a reasonable price. The wine list was also good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and unrushed and there was a very enjoyable atmosphere throughout our time here. Would definitely book again if visiting Bournemouth.
