Funki Sushi - Bournemouth

I came here last week with my family and the sushi is amazing and so fresh. great service and very good atmosphere. would definitely recommend!

Only one employee seemed to know what they were doing. The chairs were placed too far from the tables, so we had to adjust them ourselves. There weren't many people there, which made for a rather lacking atmosphere. The space felt dark and dingy, and the restrooms had a terrible smell. The restaurant could really use a makeover. However, the sushi was excellent.

The food is fantastic! I can't comment much on the restaurant experience as I was just passing through. The turnaround time was decent, and I enjoyed a quick beer while waiting. Definitely try the tiger rolls—they're amazing, and I could easily eat a whole bucket of them! I’ll be back soon!

The portions are generous, making it a decent spot for casual Japanese cuisine. The service was attentive on the night I visited, and it was pleasantly quiet. However, there is no Wi-Fi available, and I did notice an unpleasant odor reminiscent of urinal cakes in the restroom.
