I have booked this table as a special opportunity, as I went to university for the next 2 months and will not see my friend so that we thought we would make it special and try something new, so we have booked a table. at the arrival we could not come in at all and read a sign that they were closed for a weekend event! I am very disappointed!
Although I have booked a table online 48 hours in advance online. on the day of booking I called to ask about the parking space, just to say that the pub was closed in the night! no apology or explanation
What a lovely view and wonderful seating area , the bar staff quick and smiling I think the young lady that served us on several occasions was Isobell the German language student , a credit to the team will definitely return when down the south coast .
Was expecting a delightful venue overlooking the sea but unfortunately the views were patchy at best. The venue was without any ambience and seemed to be frequented by those staying at the hotel. The menu was staid and the décor tired. The staff seemed to have little to no interest in patrons entering or leaving. The place is not without potential. A little investment could make this a venue worth venturing to but alas right now tis not worth the journey.
