Nice little place nestled in a Moorooka arcade for something different from the usual fare. Delicious Ethiopian meals, love the injera bread. Staff and owner were lovely.
Beautiful hearty delicious food, very tasty Injera bread the best I’ve tasted, they also cater for Vegetarians and Vegans .Excellent service I would highly recommend this restaurant
Writing this as we have a (frankly amazing) cup of coffee.<br/ <br/ The owner is a delight; we mentioned that this was our first time eating Ethiopian food and she was very happy to offer us her recommendations from the menu.<br/ <br/ We ended up getting the platter for two, which gives you a selection of for dishes for$20. We got the doro wot (chicken in a thick, rich chilli sauce), lega tibs (diced tangy lamb and peppers), key wot (beef in a thick, rich chilli sauce), and atklt alicha (a veg curry with beans, potatoes, and carrots). Everything was served with a VERY generous serving of injera (a traditional sourdough flatbread) and was absolutely lovely.<br/ <br/ For afters, we got a slice of busbusa, a warm coconut semolina cake with berry coulis and vanilla ice cream, and a pot of strong coffee.<br/ <br/ The friendliness and quality of food we experienced tonight will absolutely earn another visit from us.<br/ <br/
Been several times to Arhibu now, it continues to impressed me as one of Moorooka hidden gems that are severely under appreciated with fantastic service. The Combination platter (pictured) is highly recommended to trial various types of dishes. The Doro Wot (chicken stew) being one of my favourites. A wonderful dining experience, will be back soon!
