Muffin Break Garden City Mt Gravatt

Hi I went to Garden City late yesterday (Thursday 21st) and just near the information centre I unexpectedly met up with a friend (we hadn't seen each other for quite a few years). As we stood there talking one of the Westfield staff asked if we were ok. When we said we had just met up she offered us free coffee vouchers and free parking tickets so off we went to a coffee shop and spent the next couple of hours having a lovely time catching up. Thank you for a lovely act of kindness ... you made our day! We both will be going back to Garden City today to complete our shopping.

I had reason to go to Woolworths Garden City today because I had a Westfield’s Gift Card. OMG it was amazing. The whole refurbishment is beautiful. It’s so good, I’ve stopped and given them 5 stars! Quite a rare thing to do for a grocery store, surely!

Was driving past to work and Facebook suggested I check in, was ripper to look at for 15 seconds. Highly recommend

Finished a light brekkie at the My Carvery, I felt craving for a nice cup of coffee. Then, I discovered this nearby muffin place also serving coffee so gave it a go. Staff is very friendly with passionate attitude. Surprisingly, the coffee that she made is even better than some espresso place. Full body with right taste for my palate. Thumb up!

I had a quiche Lorraine which was nice. The pastry tasted buttery and the filling was creamy with onion, bacon, herbs and cheese. Yum! I also had a generous portion of their carrot cake which contained pineapple as a bit of a surprise. I haven’t tried their coffee.
