The Deck On George

The Deck, unless you work up the government end of George St, is a little hidden away from the thorough fare however it has a fair menu, $15 $30 price range for burgers, fish chips, through to mains. Menu by the glass is very well priced. Options are to sit out on 'the Deck ' watching the traffic whiz by or under the shade of the deck or there is a more formal private dining room inside. If you are up that end of town you need a bite, in a nice outdoors venue this is the pick.

Great place for lunch. Great food for the price you pay. My personal favorite is the salmon salad.

Lovely atmosphere close to the botanic gardens. Simple tasty menu. I had the vegetarian burger and my husband had the pork schnitzel. Both were well presented and tasty. The coffees were great. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our meals came out quickly. Would recommend highly
