The restaurant formerly known as The Cove may have undergone a name change, but its picturesque location is what continues to attract us. Easily reachable by bike or on foot, away from the hustle and bustle of roads and traffic, the restaurant offers a serene view overlooking the lawn and river. We wish more restaurants in Brisbane would take advantage of outdoor dining like this.

Last Saturday evening, my wife, two kids, and I were walking through Southbank looking for a place to have dinner. To our surprise, we were able to snag a table right on the promenade as we passed by. The staff was very accommodating to our dietary needs, especially my wife and eldest child who have food intolerances. We were all pleased with the food and service, so much so that I have already booked two Christmas functions for December. Despite seeing some negative reviews online, I wanted to share my positive experience to provide a balanced perspective. I am looking forward to seeing how our group bookings will go in December!
