We had a great experience at Hawthorne Restaurant for the first time. The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back again. The food, service, and atmosphere all earned a perfect 5-star rating.

I had a wonderful Sunday dinner at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and we chose to dine in for lunch. The price per person was between £20-£30. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, receiving a rating of 5 for each category. I highly recommend trying the Slow Roasted Shoulder of Swaledale Lamb.

The Hawthorns is full of charm and serves the best Sunday roast.

Our experience started the moment we walked in through the door, staff were polite and attentive.. We both ordered steak, all the fantastic reviews about the Hawthorn are true , and then some, amazing meal.. Well worth the expense. Fantastic ambience. Fairly lights, candles and log burner, making it a beautiful and cosy restaurant. Food was full of flavour and reasonably priced. Staff are welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend. Book ahead, as very busy Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
