Holly here! Stayed over this past weekend in the four poster room and it was honestly such a dream! Cononley Hall is one of the nicest, friendliest places I've ever stayed! Pam and Andy were friendly and kind from the second I arrived. The room itself was gorgeous, I felt like I was staying in a castle. I adored the window seat that overlooked the immaculate garden Andy keeps, with the sunlight streaming in. I loved the little touches throughout, such as a range of treats like a little jar of flapjacks waiting among the tea, coffee, hot chocolate by the kettle. I was out and about meeting friends during the daytime and would return in the evening, and the soft bed was always a welcome sight! Breakfast was a delight! Always a warm cheery welcome from Pam and Andy, willing to make anything for breakfast. It was an absolute must for my busy weekend to have coffee and fruit and a cooked breakfast to keep energy up! The cooked breakfast I had two mornings in a row was honestly delicious. Other guests would say hello and chat across the breakfast room, so you always felt safe and happy during your stay! The surrounding area is incredible, picturesque and has a lovely atmosphere. Walking down the road, people would say good morning and chat, which just made you feel so welcome. It's a friendliness that just isn't the same down South! Thank you so much Pam and Andy! You made my trip all the more memorable and lovely! What an absolutely lovely couple Pam and Andy are with a fantastic B&B that to be honest, we have never stayed in that can match the effort and attention to detail they give. They are attentive, witty and just all around amazing, with an amazing property, in an amazing area with amazing gardens, amazing rooms! Our arrival was greeted with a very friendly genuine smile, a proper cup of tea and an amazing Malteser cake! We knew this was special then, and it became more special the longer we stayed. The breakfast was amazing, the room with that view from the top floor,. well it was amazing. We will come back here again, what a really amazing B&B that is made even more Amazing by the couple that own it. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
