I was greeted by David at the counter, who also happens to be the owner. He was incredibly helpful in recommending various dishes for me to try. I ended up ordering the Seafood Paella, chicharrón, croquettes, and a delightful octopus dish with potatoes. I haven't had paella in quite some time due to its scarcity in my area, but this dish brought back wonderful memories and was absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered, and I will definitely add Olè to my list of must-visit places in Branson. If you enjoy Spanish cuisine, you have to check it out!
Food was absolutely fantastic. The inside is pretty and clean. However, the person who took our order was very rude he walked away after we started to order. I ordered the paella marinera and it was packed with seafood and delicious rice.
Fantastic slice of Spain. Been to Spain a couple of times and even lived there for a bit. The paella here was wonderful and it was really neat that they had multiple regional varieties. They also have a small selection of tapas and desserts.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The paella here is the best Spanish dish you can find, and the sangria is made just like it is in Spain, using real wine and fresh fruits. On top of that, the service is excellent! I highly recommend visiting Ole if you're in the Branson area. I usually don't write reviews (I tend to be too lazy), but this place truly deserves it.
For the tapas, I ordered the chicharron, croquettes, and patatas bravas. The chicharron was quite good and well-caramelized—think of it as braised pork belly. The patatas bravas were all right, but I wish the aioli had complemented the dish better. The croquettes came out at a lukewarm temperature; I was hoping they would be served hotter. Perhaps that’s just their style. As for the paella, I opted for the seafood version. On the positive side, it was well-seasoned, and there was plenty of seafood present. However, I really missed having a socarrat, which I believe would have added a lot of extra flavor. On a positive note, the sangria was delicious! I prefer mine not to be overly sweet, and this one struck a nice balance.
