San Frano's Carry-out - Brantford

I have been coming to this restaurant for years, and the food and service have never disappointed! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly, greeting us with a smile. The food is top-notch, and I always recommend San Franos to family and friends!

The burgers here are average and taste similar to those from Harvey's with onion rings. There was nothing special about them. The fries seemed to be freshly cut. I decided to give this place a try, but I probably won't be returning. I'm not a fan of the food at Harry's.

Two steak sandwiches. Both were excellent. Cooked perfectly to our liking, rare to medium rare. Frank really knows how to cook these steaks. Good job. Service was great. Although there was a rare mishap with one of the steaks, it turned out well in the end. This restaurant is one of the few remaining independent fast food joints in the city, serving the community for over 50 years. I hope they continue to thrive.

The special burger is by far the best burger I ever had. I also recommend the poutins, from my experience it is also the best in the city.

Stopped in for lunch last week and had the Special Burger (2 pattys, cheese and bacon) a monster to say the least. Reminded me of whe I used to go to this place 30 years ago. Unfortunately they don't cut their own fries anymore and...that used to be part of their continuing aura. Please go back to fresh cut fries! A great lunch even with slightly higher prices than other burger joints. We'll come back again.
