Best Fish & Fries - Braşov

I had this place on my list of restaurants I might like to try. Easy to find, right in the heart of the Old Town. When I got there they were no longer there. Out of Business. Don’t waste your time on this one…like I did.

Small but very tidy and friendly place. Chef prepares fresh food but it does not take to much time. Very tasty!

Great prices for decent food. Great interior design. Nice quantities and the fries are really nice. Recommended.

My wife and I are exploring Brasov and we stumbled upon this spot. We wanted to take a break from the heavy meat, gravy, and potatoes of the local fare and this was right up our alley. For about $4 per meal you get a heaping pile of flaky fish in crispy batter with a generous amount of fries. The owner fresh batters, fries, and spices the fish to order. He was very friendly and talked to us about his business and the day. He even directed the air con right at us when he could see we were hot from eating the hot fresh fish. I would easily return to this little lunch spot. Delicious and it won't break anyone's bank.

This place was surprisingly awesome! It looks like a little hole in the wall but the food was OUTSTANDING hence don't judge by the appearance...I ordered the Cod, he cooked that and the fries fresh right in front of me, suggested I try his special tartar sauce to dip it in...We stopped back by on our way out to tell him it was great!! And it was very inexpensive!
