The staff confirmed that they were indeed all vegan, so I decided to try a Mandel Joy. It wasn't bad, but I didn't particularly enjoy the taste.
Very cozy environment with a competent and friendly staff who were able to replace various elements on the menu vegan. I ordered a lemon muffin and a milk hot chocolate and both were very delicious!
"They currently serve espresso in cups, but unfortunately, there are no vegan options available, aside from an energy drink."
I’m thrilled to see ordinary businesses starting to offer plant-based options outside of the big cities. However, given the previous high rating of 5 stars, we had higher expectations for this charming little café. It’s a typical café that features a few vegan muffins and the standard black bean burger. The staff was friendly and offered to exclude meat and cheese from salads, but that's something I can get anywhere.
The coffee here is incredibly smooth and light, making it ideal for any type of drink. The food is fantastic, and the staff are exceptionally friendly to everyone who walks in. It's a wonderful spot to hang out, enjoy delicious drinks and food, and either get some work done or just unwind. This place has set such a high standard that other coffee shops now taste burnt to me. Surprisingly, I'm totally fine with that! Thank you, Hot Java team, for being amazing. You truly are the highlight of my day sometimes. <3
