La Scala - Brest

Very good pizzeria restaurant located in the center of Brest. The boss is his main asset... welcoming and warm, he is present at least solicitation from customers. The menu is varied and the dishes are excellent and well presented (see photos). Restaurant pizzeria to be recommended. Excellent quality price

Very nice welcome, the smiling staff shares his good mood and can make you comfortable. Very nice scenery! Pizzas, risotto, entrecôt, tiramisu, everything is excellent.

Such a friendly place and very comfortable and attractive. The owner (or manager?)even helped us find a restaurant open for the next day which was a holiday with most places closed. He went out of his way to make sure we understood what we were ordering and that we had a good time. He was very attentive and willing to translate and encouraging our attempts at French. The place was packed with locals obviously enjoying themselves. I think we were the only tourists that evening. We tried one of the platters with smoked salmon and tuna salad for appetizer . Served with warm triangles of focaccia. Very good. Next we had pizza. It’s a thin crust style. And risotto with shrimp. The risotto was very creamy and delicious. For dessert we had panna cotta. Everything was good. We went back another evening after dinner elsewhere to try the glacé desserts. These are generous ice cream sundaes in many delicious combinations. Not to be missed. Save room! Good value. Nice wine list. Very near Place de la Liberte and Rue Siam. Highly recommend.

Best pizza ever. Staff did not converse in English but worked with us even engaged a friend to help us out over all a good experience

This restaurant is just down the road from Oceania. We did not want the full on menu du jour and this offerred salads, pizza, pasta and carpaccio (as well as steak and veal if you are hungry) Waiter was really friendly and was happy to speak english for us and let us try our poor french on him. Place was pretty full with locals always a good sign. If you are having a night off gourmet food and like lively, I recommend.
