Brevard Brewing Co.

Great IPA and the apple cider is really really good. Atmosphere could be better. Wish there was an outdoor area with some ambiance. Food…well Big Mike’s is a short walk away and you can eat your food at this brewery.

I was really looking forward to trying Brevard Brewing. We stayed at a nearby Airbnb and decided to walk over, which took us about 15 minutes. Their website mentions that they’re open until 10 PM, but we were abruptly turned away at 9:09 PM, told they had just done last call, even though there were several customers with full beers. It was really disappointing, and I won’t be returning on future visits. There are plenty of other friendly places nearby that appreciate our business.

We stopped by with the in-laws for a beer while we were in the area. While their beer selection isn’t as extensive as some other places, they have the essentials, and you should be able to find at least one that suits your taste. They don’t serve food, but you’re welcome to bring your own, and there are several restaurants nearby. The place has a few TVs and it appeared to be a popular spot for watching college football on Saturday afternoons. It’s not very large, and at first, we thought we wouldn’t be able to stay for a beer because every table was occupied. Fortunately, a large group left while we were browsing the beer options, so we managed to grab a table.

Convenient and cozy brewery in downtown Brevard. Every pint is $5 and bar seating is plentiful. The Mexican restaurant next door even delivered a meal to me at the brewery!
