Contribuisci feedbackFriday night after work and I was trying to get some Korean food. After I tried almost all places in the city, charmy was one of the last on my list. since I was quite obscure and not that many reviews had read, I had left it on my list for a while. finally time to check it. I was a little confused at first, what they meant as food and bottle business, but that became clear right after the entry. the front half of the load was a casual sit-down restaurant, while the back was a fully equipped bottle shop. we have two soju from behind to go with our food. I had come to reize for the boneless chicken because it was served with a large amount of sauce. now they charge $1 extra for a tiny 70ml plastic container of the sauce. much less sauce, extra cost and more plastic waste. unfortunately will not come back. also the doormen never say hello, and some service members have a bad atmosphere to them.
There is a Korean doorman who has a chip on the shoulder and is super aggressive to pay customers! the staff that serves eating is also the worst!
The man with glasses who works there is very friendly and happy, but this guy who works there is always atmospheric and ruins her mood especially when they want to work for a few animals after a hectic day. service is everything
Found myself in Brisbane CBD 9pm on a Sunday night. Had high hopes for Charmy because Korean food is generally very good. Ordered the Okonomiyaki skewers and Boneless Fried Chicken with hot chili. The skewers were reasonable 3 stars) but the fried chicken was terrible. It was soggy and the chili sauce had been glooped on so, some pieces had none, some were saturated and it pooled in the bottom. Disappointing That being said, the service was cheerful and polite and the food was prepared promptly. However, this is not enough to justify returning to this outlet.
