Yum Cha Noodle Haus - BRISBANE CITY

I somehow manage to keep getting to these Yum Cha places, maybe through luck or because they are so apparent around the place. Not once have I found one that is anywhere below greatness thus far. You have some of the best examples of good dumplings, and healthy Chinese-style dishes that are substantial and filling. Most of them are brilliant to take a group of people to (the more, the merrier, and more to try). This one gets a bit of the hawker store feel instead, and for that it is just as good in spite of the lower rating (which I will explain at the end). Getting off work, before heading off home to do the usual weight training, it was time to find somewhere for a quick lunch before doing so. Ordered the deep fried chicken with rice. The rice was ok, it lacked a lot of flavour, I didn't end up finishing it. The deep fried chicken was alright. The BBQ pork dumplings were terrible. So floury and thick with only a little bit of BBQ pork, wasn't impressed at all, I won't be returning.

As we walked over the staff member gave us some sample meat to try. Well it worked. We ended up buying their prawn Winton noodle soup and honey black bean chicken with rice. The chicken was full of flavour and super fresh even got dry chilli in oil however their Winton soup lacked flavour. Hardly any soup in fact I had to pour over more chilli. Service was excellent.

Friendly service and delicious Asian food. Yum Cha Noodle Haus is conventiently located in the middle of Myer Centre’s food court.Ordered the sweet and sour pork which was very flavourful and served searing hot. Had a little bit too much sauce but the whole meal was great nonetheless.
