Costas Seafood Cafe - Brisbane

We visited Costa before the lock down, am hoping it is now still doing take away as the fish here was amazingly good. Cooked to perfection our huge juicy steak like portions of cod came with crunchy greaseless batter chunky chips. Service also top notch even came around with a fresh fruit plate complimentary after we finished dining, now that's service!

Found Costa a good place for good value seafood. Our crumbed oysters were fresh, good size and perfectly deep fried. The grilled fish burger was huge and packed. The small seafood salad and small chips were enormous (it should have been a medium)-we would suggest to have a smaller size for 1-2 people, so 1-2 people can also try/have other food. For complementary sauces, it would be a good idea to have them in the fridge or somewhere where customers can grab by themselves without asking staff; just like the drinking water and glasses station set up at the corner.

Definitely justified the crown of Queensland’s best at this year’s Fisheries Research Development Corporation Australian Fish and Chips Awards. Fish were superbly fresh and scrumptious. Very minimal oil residue on plates. Will be back!

Beautiful fresh snapper, good old fashioned chips, lemon, vinegar and friendly helpful staff!
