Contribuisci feedbackI tried Ipoh Laksa for the first time and was very impressed! We ordered the nasi lemak and the special Ipoh laksa. The nasi lemak had a fragrant and tender beef rendang. The rice was perfectly cooked with a delicious coconut flavor. It was even better when they gave us extra sambal upon request. While the laksa may not be authentic from Ipoh, the flavor was still delicious. I have no complaints about the generous portions and abundant toppings.
I recently visited this restaurant for lunch and dinner two days in a row, and I must say it is the best Laksa I have ever had. The authentic Thai and Malaysian cuisine reminded me of my time living in Thailand. The service was friendly and the Thai tea was delicious. Overall, a fabulous dining experience.
The spicy crispy pork belly at Ipoh Laksa was excellent. It was served on a sizzling plate with beans, onions, and capsicum, along with a generous portion of rice. The meal was very reasonably priced and I highly recommend this Malaysian restaurant.
I'm so so happy and thrilled to report that Ipoh Laksa has risen from the ashes and BETTER than before. Hands down the legend of Lawnton is back and better than ever. Customer service has upgraded and so did the food with the amazing husband and wife chef combo. The couple is so lovely and welcoming that you feel like you're eating in their home kitchen. Food is prepared with much love and care. You have to try their Bonchon Chicken and Stir Fry Spicy Pork. We had it with the Thai Milk Tea it made the meal turn into the perfect trinity of sweet, savoury, and spicy. And good news the price is still budget friendly. What's not to be excited about and what are you waiting for? Go in and try the new Ipoh Laksa!! Past review 2/5 I have to change my review as Ipoh is not like how it used to be. Menu is the same but the way dishes are made is entirely different now. Expect shopping mall food court quality dishes. Not terrible but definitely not in the same calibre as how it used to be however service is still quick and the staff are pleasant. I'll come back again to try and see if things improve. Past review: 5/5 Amazingly tasty. Cheap yet servings are plentiful. Ipoh Laksa is the best Malaysian food at Brisbane North hands down!
Probably the only Malaysian shop in the area and they are good. The nasi lemak was pricey for the quantity but their signature Ipoh Laksa is reasonably priced and good!
