PJ's Steaks - Brisbane

Really good eating, they love the triple cheese first try it

Here for lunch after he had heard great things from a workmate. it was pretty average, nowhere near enough cheese on the sub, and taste was just ok. it was somewhat disappointed after it had so high expectations.

TL;DR: It makes sense that with the American cuisine craze sweeping Brisbane, there is definitely going to be props given to the brainchild behind PJ's Steaks for getting outside the burgers and Southern style barbecue with the cuisine. Even if this is not particularly the place for me, credit is always deserved for offering something different and that is precisely what the case is here. Great quick food for before, during, or after a night out drinking. I got the triple cheese and it delivered, simple but tasty and soo cheesy. Service was good too and they have some funky USA softdrinks

PJ 's Steaks make the bold claim 'The Original Philadelphia Cheesesteaks '. I lived in Philadelphia for five years and have eaten hundreds of Philly Cheesesteaks, from Pat 's King of Steaks (the real original, serving up Cheesesteaks since 1930), to Geno 's Steaks (1966) and my personal favorite Jim 's Steaks (1939). I 've eaten at PJ 's Steaks in West End before and it was good, but not great. Today 's Triple Cheesesteak from PJ 's Steaks in Fortitude Valley was fantastic and would fare well against any of the cheesesteaks listed above in terms of quality of ingredients, roll, seasoning and flavour.
