I visited this restaurant with my family while on holdays from Perth and would have to say this was the best Thai food we have ever tasted and the prices of the dishes are very reasonable. You have to drop in when you pass through.
This restaurant is so poorly managed that it could give Fawlty Towers a run for its money. Everything was fine until we placed our order, but then things quickly went downhill. It took almost 30 minutes for our entrees to arrive, and our drinks, including 2 bubble teas, took even longer. The waitress had to come back to our table between the entree and main course to clarify the order because she had forgotten to write part of it down. The mains were delivered in stages over another half hour, with one dish never arriving at all. The "Thai hot" massaman curry was so mild that even my 7 year old could eat it, and the chef forgot to put mushrooms in the Tom Yum soup, which also lacked flavor and spice. Even paying the bill was a hassle as it was not totalled in advance, and we had to wait almost 10 minutes while the waitress calculated it slowly. Then, she realized she had made a mistake and added a few extra dollars to the bill. You couldn't make this up. We will never return to this restaurant. I would rather go hungry.
This is the best Thai restaurant in Brisbane, located on the Northside (and possibly the Southside too). The food is fresh and authentic, with the option to make it as spicy as you like. They offer a wide variety of Thai dishes. I tried the Tom Yum soup and requested it to be Thai hot - it definitely lived up to its name! I have visited Thailand multiple times and dined at various Thai restaurants in Brisbane, but this one stands out as a top recommendation for those seeking genuine Thai flavors. Conveniently situated off Gympie Road, the restaurant has ample parking right in front.
The food was delicious, particularly the red Thai curry which tasted fresh, and the spring rolls were very flavorful. However, the service was quite slow, possibly due to being understaffed on New Year's Day.
