Walking in at 12.30pm the restaurant is half occupied while the tables around the Bar are mostly taken. Staff here are friendly and help us with the Menu. PT orders her Cocktail and we decide on two dishes from their Lunch Specials. <br/ <br/ The Passionfruit Mojito needs to be sweetened and it is refreshing. Our lunch arrives after 15 minutes. <br/ <br/ Roasted Pork Belly stir fried with Basil and vegetables is served with steamed rice. Freshly prepared, I like the generous serve of Roast Pork. Rating: 4.5<br/ <br/ Seafood stir fried with Cashews and vegetables is also served with steamed rice. Prawns, Squid and Scallops are reasonably fresh. Rating: 4<br/ <br/ We enjoy our lunch at this beautiful Tropical Thai themed restaurant and bar. Thank you guys!
We dined on a Saturday evening and my first impression was the garden area was just beautiful. Highly recommend asking for an outdoor table (there are heaters when it gets a little chilly) as it's lush and very inviting.<br/ <br/ We started with the spicy temple wings with tamarind and chilli. These were beautifully cooked, chicken was lovely and juicy and the sauce was super flavourful and spicy! Generous portion and well priced.<br/ <br/ My husband was impressed with the range of beers available the usual Thai suspects, but also some great local craft beers, too.<br/ <br/ For mains we chose a mussaman beef curry, kailan pork belly stirfry with steamed rice and roti. Everything was packed full of flavour and really delicious. The beef in the curry was lovely and tender, not too dry as they often are in mussaman curries. I loved everything, it was really delicious. <br/ <br/ Service was friendly and quick, and prices are very good. It's even greater value when using the Entertainment Card and we have already recommended Temple Thai to friends and family. <br/ <br/ Delicious, will definitely return again.
Came here to celebrate my birthday; the place was easily booked on the day. I sat at the restaurant side which is well-lighted, but the bar side was also nicely decorated with greeneries and string lights. Regardless of the seating position, it was relatively easy to find a staff member and place the order.<br/ <br/ Ordered the Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab, Pork Belly Pad Prik Khing, as well as the Red Curry. The Soft Shell Crab was crunchy and easy to bite; a perfect appetizer. The Pad Prik Khing was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned, with crunchy pork belly that completes the dish. Meanwhile, the Red Curry came out in the pineapple shell with the right amount of creaminess and mild spiciness. The portions were also relatively big compared to the price.<br/ <br/ A perfect dinner at Temple Thai Tuk Tuk Bar. Would definitely come back here in the future!
Hands down best Thai food in Brisbane. Food is always top and the staff are sweet and help. The traditional decor takes you away from busy Park road.
This is probably the best Thai restaurant you can get in Brisbane not just food, the ambiance, the smell, the setting, decorations, and also beer Chang! wow...everything. There were a few moments I doubted if I was really back, in that country of smile.
