Ristorante Graziella - Brissago

We went to a few restaurants in Italy but also visited the Ascona and Brissago area in Switzerland and were so glad we discovered this gem. Food was fresh, home made and presented in a most perfect way. As we always order wine by the glass, we were very happy to find a most wonderful red compared to other restaurants, where the wine served by the glass cannot be cheap enough. Another tip for meat lovers: all the sauces were home made. We could tell there was a real chef working here. We were a bit sad that we couldn't try any desert as we had eaten too much of the excellent food.We think the amount we paid in total was way better than in many Italian restaurants of similar standard, as the bread and cutlery as well as tip was included. It is nicely located at the lago Maggiore, lots of parking space right at the beginning of the promenade and sunsets must be so very romantic

Tucked away on a corner of the Brissago lakeside promenade, it's easy to walk passed the tiny Graziella. It reminds me of the Swiss in character - reserved, polite and discreet. And, like the Swiss, if you stop and take the time for a closer look, the end result is quality. Enjoyed lunch here - fresh green salad (lettuce was well washed, a pet peeve) and flavorful, al dente 'spaghetti alle vongole'. Not cheap - pasta alone was CHF 22,00 - but it's Switzerland after all. Small, intimate, spectacular view.

The First lave of finding the best authentic restaurants rarely fail... This is not the most stylish restaurant in Brissago, but the food and service is perfect.We had the best food in any restaurant in Brissago, and almost the cheapest. Perfect lakeside with a very nice view, and food with nice fresh ingredients, that had obviously been catered for.

A pretty restaurant with a view to the lake. The choise on the menu and the food is great. I am happy that we found this place and will note down for my next visit.

This is such a find. A cosy restaurant in a perfect setting run by a charming couple. The food was excellent delicious flavours and cleverly they will serve a small or larger portion. Absolutely nothing we could fault - such a welcome oasis in an area of pasta and pizza. Hoping to go back again before the week is over.
