George Inn - Bristol

I really enjoyed the fish chips. the chips were delicious!

Table for 2.45 on Sunday. although the restaurant was not full and our table was free, we could only set ourselves at 15 o'clock. the waitresses were all efficient and helpful, but there was a **** that clearly needed to monitor a quantity and wasn't really able to use its gumption. we had to follow orders a few times, once for the wee and once for the main course. the chef came to apologize that there was no more bark, so he gave us steak what was good. eating was very good, but at this price I expect it to be. we got some drinks for the inconvenience. my entire impression was that a manager had to be present to monitor dinge. possibly a nice place to eat and drink!

That was the first time we were at the ward. we were very impressed by the quality of eating and service and will definitely visit again.

Food was delicious and all very hot. Service was pleasant. Overall it was very good value and an enjoyable evening out.

Clear new menu and new owners. Food quality not as good as before. Very over priced for the quality. Steak was to oily and peppers where no good Fish and chips was tiny Chicken schnitzel was a rip off. Salad was just a few little gem leaves. Very disappointed We used to come for a nice meal knowing the food was amazing and worth the higher prices. Won’t be returning
