Recommended dishes include the Fish and Chips and Chips. There is plenty of parking available at this restaurant, with a free parking lot for guests to use.
I often visit this restaurant for their carvery on Sundays. It's always packed, so be prepared to wait to order and for your food from the carvery. It's a self-service carvery, unlike some places where they serve you. The roast potatoes can be hit or miss, and the parsnips are sometimes undercooked. They offer a good selection of vegetables and the price is reasonable for what you get. They accept the blue light card here, which gives you a 20% discount on food. You'll need to download a QR code from the app, as the phone signal is bad there. You may need to sign up for their WiFi. There are plenty of staff, but they always seem busy. The average price per person is between £10-£20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 4 out of 5. I recommend trying their Carvery Sunday Roast.
Excellent. Food .but roasted potatoes were very hard and parnips. I thought they were not cooked anoth. a few people I came with said the same xx
Absolutely gorgeous. Enjoyed everything... Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The building itself is of local historical importance, thus giving it a great atmosphere. The menu caters to all tastes dietary requirements. The quality of the food served, however, is what makes this establishment really stand out. Bookings at weekends are a must. The same goes for weekdays if there's more than two diners per party. As a bonus: serves a nice pint of Thatcher's. What more can you ask for?! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
