Good food, I had a Ripper's beer town beef sandwiches, now I am annoyed, I live in Niagara Falls Ontario and must make the trip another. My wife had lunch Philly Steak sandwiches and my mother-in-law had the open meat ball. We all loved the French Pommes they are delicious, my wife thought the Phill Steak sandwich was one of the best ever. But the meatball sandwich had a strange spicy taste plus a muddy texture, I tried some and was set off by the spices. But that can happen with everything. The washroom was for men and women, and the kitchen and terrace are down and I also think interior. Our waitress was great, we were the only people upstairs as it was in the early afternoon and she was up and down many times to check us out. The food came fast and was hot and very tasteful. If you are looking for good food and much of it for a good price should You must stop here
Excellent. Stoneyard takes bar-grub and turns it around. You do not have a familiar but eclectic menu and the best loaded Pommes Bar.
Night. On Mondays they have wing specials and their Cajun wings are a trip there to enjoy! Also enjoyed a reub there. No complaints others then, while up drinks can get a few moments. Staff is always beautiful and fun to enjoy meals. Beautiful outdoor seating near the canal also for beautiful days!
Worth going to Brockport. We were attracted to Stoneyard by a newspaper ad and the anticipation of a table by the canal on a pleasant summer evening. We entered the bar at the lower level and were warmly greeted by the bartender (Jason) who asked if we wanted to eat on the patio or upstairs dining room we chose outside and he indicated that he'd let us know when a table was available. We had beers from a varied and extensive lineup on tap and soon the table was ready. Two items on the menu were highly recommended by the waitress the fish fry and the Cubano sandwich, so we had one of each with the promise to share. Both met expectations, the fish fry being one of the best we tasted recently. Only thing we agreed on, and this is just a matter of taste, we don't care for fries that taste like they are battered. We like to taste some potatoe. They do offer other sides instead (mac salad, etc) so you have a choice. Both the bar and table service were excellent, the meals suffient for leftovers for the next day, and we intend to go back. Hopefully, once Brockport's college is back in session, it won't be too busy to enjoy.
