Billy Ray's Catfish Bbq Broken Arrow

The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. I wish they grilled their corn on the cob instead of boiling it, though. I'll have to try the catfish another time; for now, I'm enjoying the BBQ. The sauce has a strong hickory smoke flavor and is served in a bowl with the food, rather than being available on the table. This makes me wonder if it’s freshly made or purchased in bulk. However, the tartar sauce is available on the table.

The food was excellent. The ribs were tender, the catfish was outstanding, and while the burnt ends weren’t exactly burnt ends but more like cubed brisket, they were still tender and delicious. The fried okra was light and crispy, and the coleslaw was satisfactory. The smoked chicken was also enjoyable, and the tabbouleh was quite good as well. The only item I wouldn’t order again was the beans; they were overly sweet and too soupy, which was the only letdown of our meal. Overall, though, we will definitely return, and we’ll be sure to order the catfish again. It was light, crispy, moist, and seasoned just right.

The food was excellent, especially the hand-breaded catfish. The service, however, is typically managed by just one person handling both the register and all the tables, so it can be a bit lacking at times. Nonetheless, I’m willing to overlook that for the sake of such good food. Overall rating for the food: 4/5.

If I could give this restaurant a 100 I would, but it’s always the minute you walk in the door. Hello how to see where are you would like the food is always great and it service is always top-of-the-line all right along with the food. I love to eat here so to my kids.Food: 5/5
