F & J Pine Restaurant - BRONX

I went here with my school for our Senior event and I was dissatisfied. Firstly, when I went to pick up my knife to eat, I recognized a stain on it [attached]. Additionally, a classmate of mine who I sat next to went to get breakfast. In her bacon, she found a large clump of HAIR, covered in bacon. Celebrated my 3rd wedding anniversary here, it was during covid so we sat outside. Food was great, staff was welcoming and the price was right also. The waiter was our photographer for the night...he was lovely.

First I would just like to say the hostess when we walked inside the restaurant was rude. He had a whole conversation with a customer or friend without acknowledging us. We were standing there for about 5 min and he completely ignored us just to then say we're not seating anybody (It was 8 P.M they close at 11 P.M) you can sit at the bar. It threw the whole mood off. The food at the Pine is excellent. Celebrated my birthday there with friends and had a wonderful time. The porterhouse steak was delicious. Drinks were good. The service was very good.

2.5 if I could but needs better attentive service. Our waiter was faster and more attentive to bigger tables which is understandable but our first time, celebration birthday not very memorable. Plus loud music from a prom and the bathroom was disgusting. Unfortunately our chicken and shrimp got mixed up when they did our food to go and my wife is highly allergic to shrimp.
