Painters' Restaurant - Brookhaven

Excellent eating went in the restaurant week price fixe and it was great!

Four of us went there for restaurant week. Two of us ordered the ribeye and it was smothered in gravy! YUP! What were they trying to hide? A poor cut of meat with lots of fat!!!! We've eaten there before but after this meal, I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon.

Been coming here for years but very disappointed last visit. We got the skirt steak, ahi tuna and scallop special. Everything was over cooked. Tasted burnt/bitter. Told waitress but nothing was done. Spent 175 on dinner and was very unhappy. Only thing that was good was the nachos.

Painters is a great spot to gather with friends when you want delicious food! Have been before and will go back again for sure.

The menu has specified the main steak. we will, it was terrible my chewing gum and granular. the server took it back and replaced it with garnish and even tasted as if they were frozen and microshafted. my friend claims his fish taco plate was really good and he knows his Mexican kitchen too well. the server rich was really sweet.
