Understanding they are training a new staff, more seasoned staff also seemed a bit absent minded in taking orders, forgeting to ask what side or sauce etc. Nonetheless, they are polite. The kitchen was surprisingly efficient comparatively, I would say the sides are in general much better than the main, creamed spinach and sweet potato fries are very delicious, but scallops are overcooked and lobster was over seasoned. Shrimp is a safe choice but oyster is not as fresh as I expect.
Omg where do I start?! The service is impeccable . Every single waiter provided exceptional customer service . One guy even asked my boyfriend if he’d like to leave his food on the warmer while we fed our baby . For me , it’s those little factors that make a good restaurant into a great one ! You guys are doing a PHENOMENAL job. I’ve been to a gazillion restaurants all over this city but this one was breath of fresh air . The ambience gives a very clean Miami vibe . The food is fresh and incredibly tasty . I’d recommend trying the oysters , the salmon , the fish and chips and the fresh cheddar biscuits ! I can’t wait to try the lobster Mac and lobster rolls. Try seamore’s , you won’t regret it !!!
Tacos were delicious and drinks were great too! Not too pricey, definitely will come back here! Great brunch spot! Close to DUMBO if you’d like to walk around afterwards
After a long day of walking around the city during the heatwave, a friend and i ended up up Seamore’s for dinner. the interior possesses that casual charm—designed with an Northeast seaside inspiration. the main dining room is airy and has a decent-sized bar area. there’s a comedy/performance area downstairs, apparently (didn’t see it). i will note the air-conditioning wasn’t great—seemed like it was turned really low…so eventually the dining area felt cool after sitting there for a while BUT it should have felt refreshingly cool. the menu is seafood-centric. got guacamole and chips—tasted fine. opted for Baja Crispy Fish tacos which were a highlight: cabbage, avocado, chipotle mayo, and corn tortillas. the crunchy fish, creamy chipotle sauce, and freshness of cabbage avocado combine for a satisfying taco bite. nice selection of beers—opted for a couple of Montauka which went well with the meal. expect to spend $60 person for dinner. service is great. attentive and fast. kudos to the staff at Seamore’s. overall, Seamore’s is a fun good dining option in Dumbo but it does feel fairly pricy especially for casual bites like tacos like each taco is basically $10 apiece which feels kinda high when my fave taco joints don’t charge nearly as much. also they need to turn up the air conditioning!
Came in on a hot day looking for something cold and sweet- our server suggested an arnold palmer with vodka. Obviously we said YES! it was so good. Service was fantastic! Food was even better. I had the fish tacos- so good. My boyfriend had the bacon egg and cheese. His review? “Simply scrumptious!” Will be coming back in soon!
