I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The waitress was slow and rude, and the food was not good at all. The prices were high, and on top of that, she added an 18% gratuity to the bill for our party of three, which she definitely did not deserve. Overall, I do not recommend this place.

The prices are misleading—what appears to be $6.75 for a torta ends up being nearly $8 with tax and a bag fee. The bigger issue, however, is that the chicken in the torta was clearly not fresh; it was tough and difficult to chew. It even looked old, with a dark appearance between the pieces of chicken.

The delivery never arrived. I called an hour and a half later and was told, "Oh, we just received your order now." There was no apology whatsoever. I won't be ordering from this place again.

Im really torn on this place! I went twice in two weeks and the experiences were polar opposites. First visit: weekday lunch Whole fried grouper (side of beans and rice yum Tostadas con pollo: juicy chicken and layers of ensalada Horchatas (don't miss this! Service was great, food was great! Second visit: weekend dinner Asada con nopales well composed, delicious Tacos de pollo (3 dry and flavorless, tortillas were nice so it was unfortunate that the chicken was such a miss. Guacamole appetizer watery, lacked depth Horchata: consistently good Tamarindo: everything you want on a summer day The service during this second visit was disappointing the waitress wasn't very approachable. I can understand being tired but another party walked in halfway through our meal and the energy was just different for them. Not a great feeling. Worth a try! But I'd set the expectation you're going for food not for service.

Probably the best cemita I have had (and I have been ordering cemita's from Sunset for years). The queso on the sandwich was just perfectly balanced between stringiness and breakable. Their drinks are delicious too... especially the shakes and fruit waters.
