Contribuisci feedbackI recently visited D’event cakes on my birthday and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The cupcakes I purchased were stale and had an unpleasant refrigerator taste. When I called to address the issue, the lady who answered was unhelpful and kept insisting that I needed to speak to the owner, who was out of town. She mentioned that the refrigerator was most likely not cleaned and that the cupcakes were probably a few days old. No effort was made to fix the problem or even offered a refund. This lack of customer service is unacceptable, and I won’t be returning. Save your money and go elsewhere for fresh and tasty treats.
I placed an online order earlier on the day, paid and order went through. Order pick up was for 7:30 pm, called three times around 6 pm and no answer, I thought they would be busy. Waited for the pick up time, showed up and they had a note that they had closed for the day. If my order wasn't going to be made, a call wouldn't have hurt, an email or order cancelation, that way I wouldn't have made the drive all the way here

Excellent cake decoration and taste. Staff is very friendly and does its best to provide what we ask for. I’m so happy I found this place.
We recently ordered a cake for my daughter's 15th birthday. While the flavor and overall quality of the cake were subpar, we were disappointed with the presentation. The color of the flowers on the cake appeared rushed and poorly done, which was particularly disheartening as this cake was intended for a special celebration. Despite our concerns, we felt compelled to proceed with the purchase due to time constraints. However, what truly left us disheartened was the response from the point of contact. Even after expressing our disappointment, we were met with an implication that the error was ours for not speaking up earlier. As a customer, I believe it's important to share both positive and negative experiences. While the cake itself was averageat best, the lack of attention to detail and the dismissive response to our concerns left a lasting impression. I hope this feedback can serve as an opportunity for improvement and help future customers make informed decisions. We appreciate the effort that goes into creating these special treats, and we hope that our experience can contribute to a better overall service for all customers.
