The staff was amazing some of the nicest people we met while being there working. The owners on the other hand lets just say their nose is in everyone’s business. Don’t have friends at your campfire or cook in big groups they will rubber neck as they patrol the area. This could be an amazing place with the right owners !!
You MUST visit this absolute gem of a place. What an amazing accomplishment this lovely couple have achieved in just a few years. It blew our minds. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was so gorgeous, perfectly clean with the most comfortable beds and pillows. Everything smelled so fresh. We walked the grounds and it felt like something out of a fairytale. Beautiful rolling hills with lots of shade, three (that we counted) play structures and swings for the kids. Two ponds, one of which becomes a water park full of inflatables in the summer. You can rent golf carts and zoom all around. Next time we want to come for a family reunion or our wedding anniversary. It would be so magical to have all your people there. So much to do! My husband was very impressed by the frisbee golf course. Now, to address the negative reviews, this is one couple doing EVERYTHING, including running the restaurant. We ate there and it was delicious! I understand peoples frustration when they don’t get served right away, but please cut them some slack. The fish and chips and the shrimp Tacos were SO good! Great cocktails too. Just try to have a bit of patience, you’re not in the big city, and it can’t be easy to find a lot of help out there. I would 100% recommend this resort.
We visited during this campsites anniversary and stayed in a yurt. It was clamping at its finest. The yurts are centrally located on the property. There is a restaurant on the property, walking trails, swimming, paddle boarding, and a water park. We weee able to witness fireworks and food trucks. The food was so good and the fireworks were beyond anything I’ve seen. The restrooms were well kept and we climbed the 100 foot tower. I highly recommend this campsite. Plus, there is lots to do in this small town.
Nice place but over priced. I don 't mind paying, for something I enjoy, but when you 're greeted with a nasty attitude, from the owner, the minute you arrive, it changes the appearance, of the entire resort! Had this not been my daughter 's bachelorette get together, they would not have received a dime, of my money! We did still manage to have a great day, at the waterpark. Which, by the way, will cost you $20.00 more, than what you 've already paid, for the campsite. We had dinner, at the restaurant, and asked if we could sit outside. We were told no, due to having a party of eleven, because, That 's way too hard on our servers. Why do you have tables, set up outside, if you do not intend to allow your guests, to sit there? The food was mediocre, at best. Our waitress was super sweet. I wish I had gotten her name. My family and I have talked, about renting a yurt or cabin. However, after our experience, today, we will not return, nor will we recommend it.
What an overpriced joke. Bathrooms stayed disgusting. Trash wasn’t changed for 3 days. Showers not cleaned. Yurt situated in direct sunlight. My 3 kids played in water park for 30 minutes and was done. For 3 kids water park was 80 dollars cause u have to pay to stay on beach and watch your kids. When my fiancé complained to owner about bathroom and other issues he had audacity to ask what do we do for a living. Like what does that matter? They are uppity snooty people that are robbing customers. 4 dollars for small bag of ice. 10 dollars for small amount of wood. We paid 460 to stay in yurt. This was a huge waste of money. Family so unhappy this vacation
