George's Tradition Chilwell - Broxtowe

Just been in George's Chiwell. Large fish and chips small fish and chips two kids meals, gravey and curry sauce £35! I know things have gone up. The food was okay at best. The chip's weren't very warm and looked like they had been there for a while. The fish was nice as it had been freshly cooked. The shop was empty. The lady in the shop had to write the prices on the receipt as it wasn't itemised.

Hello we have just been to George's West Bridgford and along with our order we ordered a large mushy peas, when we got to where we ate them the peas was just a tub of green water with about 3 peas in........Comments please.

A great chippy, we love it here The staff are happy to help and the catering area is super clean. We love coming for chips regularly

As I was in my own last week I decided to treat myself to a fish supper. The fish was delicious but the server didn’t put any chips in the box, disappointing as the peas curry sauce was also very good. So I’ve got to mark down, sorry.

Disappointing service from the staff. Disrespectful and rude when a complaint was made. ‘Whatever’! Was what I heard as I left. Decent food from George’s and I travel miles to get there but there is a real disappointment with how I was treated tonight. I’d say it is normally brusque but acceptable rather than friendly. But tonight they overstepped the mark. I doubt very much I will go back.
