Contribuisci feedbackDon't know if it was user error or what but the ice cream was soupy and the toppings were almost nonexistent. Like they were down to their last and trying to stretch what was left. Normally, it's great but the past few months haven't been. The employeeswere nice, it just took a while to get the ice cream.
Had a family outing and decided to end the day at DQ. Pulled into the parking lot but DT was backed up and we couldn?t get into any parking spaces so we parked in the next business?s lot and made our way in. As we approached we debated leaving expecting along wait and poor service but we promised the grandkids ice cream so we braced ourselves for a bad experience. Upon entering, avery nice young man who appeared to have already clocked out and trying to enjoy his dinner jumped up and jumped in to help. Heworked with another young man at the counter helping him as he appeared to be new. I was not prepared with my order and theywere very patient and helpful as I ran back and forth to gather my family?s requests. The order was rather large and the Mgr.on duty also came over to offer assistance to both young men. All of the employees were extremely friendly, professional andcourteous. The orders were brought to us nearly immediately and everything was hot and fresh. I mistakenly ordered the wrongice cream for my granddaughter and the mgr replaced it free of charge. During our meal they checked on us several times toensure we were ok and had everything we needed. As a retired restaurant general manager and supervisor, I was totallyimpressed with the quality of service, food, cleanliness and friendliness of the mgr on duty and the young man that interruptedhis dinner to jump back in and help. I made a point to tell them they were great. The young man told me he was being promoted?Yes! do so immediately! If I were still in business, I would have done my best to get him in with my company. We had awonderful experience. I failed to get their names. Big kudos are needed for the folks working Friday night 10/21/22 around 7:30or so. Especially the mgr. and the young man jumping in to help. Great job guys!! Much appreciated!!
Service was a better the second time around While I?m sure the food is par for a DQ, my experience was was not the greatest regarding the staff. When going through the drive-through, the attendant was abrupt and included some added commentarythat I felt to be unnecessary. Based on that experience, I just kept driving and didn?t complete my order.
A drive thru line of 5 cars took half an hour. At this point I?m disappointed only in myself for waiting that long. The wait, of course, resulted in meeting some drive thru girl who is so evidently disdainful of having a job that ?hello? or ?have a niceday? is too much for her. And of course she hands me this instead of the hot fudge sundae I overpaid for
I always love DQ, but this location is struggling bad. The quality of food is down, the wait time is up, order accuracy is not that good, you can't go inside at all. But it's due to a lack of employees. They just can't get any help much less good help. Itwasn't like this and hopefully it will get better soon. I still love DQ, sandwiches and ice cream mostly chicken baskets lol????????. And I will go back just not as often.
