Moodys Seafood Market And Take-out

I have the Captains plate on our way home from the Barhafen. We were disappointed that we could not put it in there, but this was amazing! All fish were super fresh and not “fish” at all. Clams had such a delicious taste. Fries very crispy and the staff was super nice. Very good, thank you.

Fresh, fast and delicious! The Lobster role had a large part of the lobster. Friendly service and clean dining room with beautiful large paintings from Maine. Better bagged chips or homemade chips would guarantee a 5th star.

We were looking for lobster for our jubilee dinner, glad we found Moody's, got 3 big lobsters at a great price. Service was excellent!!

We love Moody’s. They have the best fried mussels and Haddock Chowder that we have found and their lobster rolls are delicious (I recommend roasted). They also receive incredibly cheap prices for their fresh seafood. Definitely skip the tourist traps and give this place your business.

The best seafood in the area! It helps that they are both a restaurant and a seafood wholesaler so they have the freshest seafood daily. We ordered the fisherman's platter which came with fried shrimp, scallops, clams, haddock and French fries. We ordered another fisherman's platter but God fried onion rings too. WOW, they perfected the batter. We also ordered steamed clams and several lobsters. Everything was so fresh and tasted great. It was also a great price especially compared to the taste and quantity provided. In all of my years and many states, overall, this was the best seafood place. Others may have a specific dish or better ambiance but this was the best. If you're local or just visiting, you must try Moody's Seafood.
