Everything was so good. We had three courses- the main courses were both so fresh and flavorful. My husband described the bruschetta as the best he’s ever had. Nonna’s olive oil cake was fantastic. We spent about 2 weeks between Portland and Bat Harbor, especially looking for places the locals love. We dined at the bar and learned several of the parties next to us come in every week for the dynamic menu and Renaissance cocktails. Everything utensils and bev send singular. Nothing rote or tired. Pros: lightly fried artichoke hearts. WOW! Lavender Gimlet, woohoo! Cons: hmmm. Only open 4 nights?? Wheelchair accessibility: Very clean, open, accessible restroom. Tables/ seating were very flexible and staff is way attentive.

Walk in was denied seating because of a new chef was limited over 1/2 the tables were empty,,, no thanks to this place!!!! Can't handle 2 people on walk in, said!! Went to the Greek place Tavern Knonie,, who was half full in tables and full bar available , who told use to wait on the street to see if they have anything available,,, so ent to The Great Empasta who was full was told only 5-10 mins who did seat use very nicely!!! Service: 1

Half the restaurant on a Wednesday evening was empty and walked in for dinner. Was turned away by maybe the bartender or owner saying they were at their capacity. However I was able to go on Resy and make a reservation for 15 minutes later, I wasn't going to bother completing the reservation since it just seemed rude. So I can't comment on the food, but service was really lacking and I wouldn't bother going back. Service: 1

We had such a wonderful meal here tonight! We sat at the high top at the window,really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the white lights and beautiful lighting throughout. Our server Jackson was great! Excellent recommendations, we had the bruschetta,stuffed mushrooms and mini gyros-everything was so delicious! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return! Service: Dine in
