Jade Garden - Brunswick County

In short: avoid this restaurant at all costs! Despite the high ratings, we were extremely disappointed with our experience here. We ordered four combination dinners with fried rice, but the fried rice tasted more like a store-bought Spanish yellow rice with added frozen vegetables. The egg rolls were overly greasy and seemed like they had been sitting out for too long. The main dishes, such as General Tso's Chicken and chicken and broccoli, were not much better. The chicken dishes tasted like they had been reheated and were chewy. Overall, our meal was a complete letdown and we ended up having to cook at home afterwards. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

I absolutely love this place - they have been around for as long as I can remember. I have been dining here for 20 years now and without a doubt, it is the best restaurant of its kind in the area!
