Mushroom toaster was probably the best, but chicken and avocado was a complete disappointment with loads of cheese and minimal chicken. Coffee was the highlight of the meal. Overall good tasting and filling toasties, but taste could be improved with focus on reducing the cheese.
At first they looked upset when I said I had a reservation. Then I sat myself while they were behind the counter. I then had to go back to the counter to ask for a menu, and when no one came to take my order, I went back to order. There were only 6 people in the café. Was not so hungry at the time, so just ordered a cheese and mushroom toastia that was good.
This cafe is a neighbourhood gem. Nice and cosy. The toasties were delicious! We also had The Brunswick . Good portion and the food wasn 't salty like some other establishments. The proprietors were friendly and welcoming! Other interesting aspect is that they had painitngs hanging on the wall in collaboration with an artist! Definitely a must visit especially to support local!
Menu was very limited today, we looked forward to the lunch menu like open steak sandwich and open souvlaki. Unfortunately during holidays the menu was quite limited.
First time at this little gem in Brunswick. The food was delicious, the service was amazing. Will definitely be visiting this Cafe again.
