They used to have clear vegan labeling, but that has been discontinued after a recent renovation. However, allergens are still clearly marked, making it easy to find vegan items. While I wish they had more vegan choices, the options can be a bit repetitive.
Pulp offers a variety of good vegan options that are convenient for grabbing lunch at the office. One standout dish is the hummus and aubergine focaccia, a delicious alternative to the typical office sandwich. They also have tasty salads that can be quickly packed and paid for without long wait times. While they used to clearly label their vegan products, they have recently stopped doing so, which is a safety concern. However, allergens are still marked, making it easy to identify vegan items. It would be great if they expanded their vegan menu as it can get a bit repetitive.
I believe that many of the dishes should be included on the Happy Cow Brussels card, as well as listed as vegan. However, I do appreciate that Cellulose offers a good selection of vegan dishes. Their daily vegan salad with red quinoa, lentil hummus, nuts, spinach, red cabbage, and fruit is delicious. They also have a vegan soup option every day, which may be a bit watery but still warms you up. Their vegan focaccia with grilled Mediterranean vegetables and zesty hummus is also tasty. They even provide soy milk for coffee. While I'm not a fan of the packaging waste, I wish they had a non-packaged option, it is clear that they prioritize offering delicious vegan food. I suspect that the staff may also be vegan. In Brussels' European quarter, finding vegan lunch options can be challenging, making Cellulose a very welcome choice.
