I visited for the first time and had a great experience. I ordered the hamburger steak, along with yams, greens, rice, brown gravy, cornbread, and sweet tea. Since we dined in, they served us generous portions. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. The plates are affordable at $10 each, which includes one meat, two sides, and one bread, with drinks costing extra—bringing my total to $13. I will definitely be back!

Best food service EVER! If you haven’t eaten here, you haven’t really dined in Brazos County can’t help but clean your plate. And the cornbread and cobbler beef tips rice, fried chicken, pork chops it’s all good

This has always been my mother's favorite eating spot& i love the fact that they remember her and how she likes her food to be fixed. They remember her by name and if i ever pick up food for her from here, They always know exactly what she wants& how she wants it. Nice portions, nice prices, always clean& quite cozy

Great homestyle food! Hardly ever buy it for my employees, though. They're not worth a darn after eating so much food! Not a baked chicken fan but I love their baked chicken with cornbread dressing. Make sure to look at a menu because it changes day by day. You won't be disappointed if you're okay with a little extra fat, calories and FLAVOR !!! Too tasty to be healthy. If you're on a diet, go elsewhere!

Good groceries served hot. Great blue plate type soul food or call it country cooking. But it's tasty, place is clean, company is good.
