Contribuisci feedbackThe food was excellent as the service. The Maitre was a bit rude when we came in, but it was all very good after that. It was our first taste of Romanian cuisine and it was a wonderful introduction.
We chose this place for a Sunday dinner. I booked a table for 3 people, outside on the terrace in the smoking area where I wanted. I was impressed by the quality of services: very attentive staff, ready to make guests feel good, offers very good food suggestions based on our preferences and appreciate the food in real time. We had a rye-eye steak with grilled vegetables very well cooked and a delicious smoked pork with swollen cabbage for 2 people. Great location for a relaxing time in the beautiful garden, ideal for groups too.
I tried to have a decent lunch with two other friends at 12-12:30 on 7. January 2023. We were dismissed rudely that everything was quite booked and we were asked to go to a CLOSED terrace where, despite the Romanian and UE bylaws people smoke in the closed housing and offered a 1 hour 30 minutes to finish lunch. When asked if it is possible to find something else, we were directed in the Romanian characteristic sarcasm on the outer open terrace, with temperature outside about 8 C. We went to La Birlic, near this thing they call a restaurant.
High prices for average food, but at least the place was nice. The waiters and other employees are helpful, but sometimes a little too overwhelming, especially when you can order all from an app/web page. Probably they get some bonuses if they can take more orders than people doing the order themselves. To be honest, I prefer ordering from people, but I don’t like being pressured into ordering stuff…
It's in a historical building. It has a large outside area as well as a big interior. It's always full and you most likely will need a reservation. They also have take out and delivery, so no worries if you can't get a table.
