Macleod's - Bucksport

This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. We had a wonderful dining experience here. The salmon is particularly tasty and the shrimp cocktail is perfect. They always have delicious specials and all desserts are homemade. The coconut cream cake is especially delicious. The service is top-notch. Make sure to call ahead as they get busy quickly.

We had not made any reservations (committed to it), but only about 20 minutes to get a table. The service was first class. From the owner on the ground, very friendly. Great atmosphere. I had the Meat Tau dinner, it was phenomenal. The best meat towel I had. My wife had the Mac and cheese, it was pretty good! Only complaint would be the Margarita (fantastic) was $11 for not a very big margarita. Would've liked to get a little more for the price. Worth a visit if you are in town or go through!

This is definitely great! I don't usually write a review right after dinner. But this is worthy. The staff is also very friendly and friendly.

We had the opportunity to dinate with MacLeod after we found out that our original choice was closed at 2. Lucky. The staff was friendly and courteous, the food was delicious and the price we paid was less than we usually spend. We had a drink each, split the ribs and chicken nachos and split a strawberry peach cbbler with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on it! My only complaint that is NOT related to them is that I leave our pull-out box in the saddle bag of the bike overnight. BOO!

What a pleasant surprise! This restaurant has been in business since 1980 and most, if not all, of their dishes are made from scratch. The Chicken St. Vincent, with its light breading, perfect frying, and broiled cheese and crab meat topping, topped with a delectable lobster sauce, was absolutely delicious. The sweet and sour collards were a unique and delicious twist. Erin, our waitress, was very attentive and made sure our glasses were always full and our plates were cleared. We would definitely come back to this place again!
